FreeStyl Launcher
The FreeStyl launcher allows you to configure 5 pages of 12 icons (60 icons in all) as well as 4 primary icons visible at the bottom of all the pages. To move between the different pages you just slide your finger left or right across the screen to page through the icons. The launcher allows you to either choose a specific background or you can optionally rotate through all the wallpapers in a specified folder at a specified interval.

FreeStyl Locker
The FreeStyl locker features the same wallpaper engine available in the FreeStyl Launcher and optionally allows you to view a analog or digital clock. It displays all the same notification icons that the Launcher does as well. At the bottom of the screen is a "slide to start" orb that allows you to unlock the locker by sliding your finger from left to right on the screen.

FreeStyl Contacts
The FreeStyl Contacts application pulls contact information from the standard Windows Mobile contact manager, it even exports all your contact images and shows them along side your contacts in the application, it also features an alphabet filter bar on the left that allows you to filter the list of contacts to a group of letters. To scroll through the contacts you just slide your finger up or down the screen.

FreeStyl Weather
The FreeStyl Weather application allows you to configure two different locations, one for your home area and one for an away area. The weather information is pulled periodically by the FreeStyl server and is displayed in a nice "widget looking" interface.

FreeStyl Audio Player - STILL IN DEVELOPMENT
The FreeStyl Audio Player was designed to function much like Windows Media Center, It displays icons of all the albums on your device and allows you to scroll through the icons by slding your finger accross the screen.

What's New in This Release:
· The FreeStyl Weather System is now included in the Launcher. The Weather screen is accessed from the 5th page of icons (the page that contains the configuration link, etc). Two locations are enterable in the configuration applet. US users can use their Zip Code, while international users can visit http://weather.yahoo.com and obtain their location code from the URL at Yahoo (ie, for France it will be something like FRXX0234)
· The Weather system can be disabled completely in the config (this is the default). If enabled, the weather system will pull updates from the internet upon accessing the Weather window if the cached data is older than 1 hour. Further visits to the weather page during that hour will come from cache.
· The Locker has been integrated into the Launcher instead of running as a separate SWF file. This greatly improves performance of the locker. The locker's unlock button still displays a bit of freakyness at this time.
· Several updates have been made to the server to increase performance, including reworking how the server handles requests.
· The tab order in the configuration applet has been slightly modified to place Icons and Grid next to each other.
· The Opts tab in the configuration applet has been rearranged to add the Weather options.
· The File Browser in the Configuration applet now displays .URL files in addition to .EXE and .LNK when selecting a Launch action to allow for launching Pocket IE favorites.
· Website actions now launch the URL directly, allowing the system to determine what web browser is used instead of launching /Windows/Iexplorer.exe
· Additional improvements to notification detection have been implemented. Missed calls, SMS, and E-Mail should all reflect the actual number of items (In the previous version Missed Calls would never go past 1). Voice Mail message counts will be highly dependent on your particular device to be correct.
· An "About" page has been added to the Launcher, accessible thru the 5th icon page. This page will display the version of the interface you are currently using.
· All of the .CAB packages have been repacked with the files in the appropriate location to respect "Device" and "Storage Card" options. The 0.1.1.0 release always installed to the Device, even if you selected Storage Card. NOTE: For build 0.1.1.1 you MUST install all components to the same place (either Device or Storage card for the main package and wallpapers, etc). In the future you will be able to specify separate locations for wallpapers and icons, etc.
· Modifications have been made to the Starter and Server to prevent "Timeout retrieving the process list" errors. If the Starter is unable to retrieve the process list (and thereby not know if the server is already running) it will attempt to start the server anyway. When the server starts and tries to bind to port 13000 it will detect that port already being in use and exit, knowing that a copy is already running.
· The icon font has been modified for clarity.
· The "Launcher" icon in the 5th icon page will restart the Launcher.SWF file (without doing anything with the server itself). This option can be useful if you have made manual changes to SETTINGS.XML (not recommended) and want to refresh your display.
· The routine that loads icon data from the config file into flash has been drastically improved (performance-wise)
